Taps

Since 2006, MICROTECH® taps have been produced in the ISO 9001:2000 quality system for cutting cool threads according to the European assortment and accuracy standards:

• in parts made of structural steels with single taps according to ISO 529 and DIN 376 from alloyed high-speed steel R6M5Kh4F;
• in parts made of viscous materials with single taps according to DIN 371 from cobalt high-speed steel R6M5K5;
• in critical parts with sets of taps of 2 pcs. according to DIN 2181 and sets of taps of 3 pcs. according to DIN 352 from high-speed alloy steel R6M5H4F;
• in critical parts with short nut taps according to ISO 529 and long taps according to DIN 357 from R6M5Kh4F high-speed alloy steel.
