In Ukraine, two tool factories (Kharkov and Lvov) produce dies from tungsten-free tool steel.

Today, factory workers are increasingly demanding highly resistant high-speed steel dies, incl. for cutting cool threads in viscous materials.

Since 2006, the production in the ISO 9001:2000 quality system of modern high-quality MICROTECH® dies of European assortment and accuracy has been mastered in Kharkov:

• high-resistant tubular cylindrical dies according to ISO 4231 from high-tungsten high-speed steel R9M3H4F (European analogue of R18);
• tubular cylindrical dies according to ISO 4231 budget from tool steel;
• metric dies according to ISO 2568, high-resistant made of high-speed steels R9M3Kh4F (European analogue of P18, high tungsten) and R6M2Kh4K (cobalt);
• metric dies according to ISO 2568, low-cost tool steel.
