Universal dividing heads are used as universal dividing devices (UDG) for metal-cutting machines. In combination with various devices, universal dividing heads are used to measure the parameters of splined, keyed and parts with gearing elements.
Universal dividing heads have a division price of 2/ 5/ 10/ 30 and 60 seconds; for metrological tasks, more accurate optical dividing heads (ODG) are used.
