Limit (dvuhkalny) micrometers of the MKP series are intended for measurement of the external limiting sizes. Limit micrometers are equipped with two microscrews, in the process of measurement, one screw is set to the maximum limit position of the part and the other to the minimum limit value of the part.
The measured part is inserted in series between the measuring surfaces of the micrometer and determine whether the part is suitable
